Women's Basketball Coach Commemorative Photography Session

I had such a fantastic time creating this photoshoot for Chris! She has spent most of her life playing and coaching women's basketball (at the University of Minnesota!) and now puts so much energy toward mentoring young people, it was an honor to photograph her and commemorate this time in her life.

After the portrait session, I followed her to her home where we took a little time to take photos of her with her husband Dan (journalistic style!), doing the things they love best in life. He is suffering from Dementia and the days are not always easy for them, but this was a celebration of a Very Good Day and the many they have shared together. We had a lovely time and it was really special to create this experience for them.
